What you can expect:

Your animal is in good hands at Dead On Taxidermy. We are here to brainstorm what your mount will look like and preserve the memories you make with every hunt. 

 

When you bring in your animal, a 50% deposit is required before we send it to the tannery. We accept cash, check, and credit cards for your convenience.

 

Quality taxidermy takes time. Here’s what to expect:

• Shoulder & Full Mounts: 12–18 months

• European Mounts: ~5 months

• Tanned Capes & Hides: 5–9 months (professionally garment tanned)

The remaining balance can be paid online or in person before pickup. Any applicable packing and shipping charges will be confirmed upon completion.

 

Once your mount is finished, you’ll have 90 days to pick it up, make final payment, or arrange shipping. If we don’t hear from you, the piece may be resold or disposed of without a refund of your deposit.

Update:

Starting April 1, 2025, invoices amounting to $1,000 or more will incur a 3% credit card transaction fee.

To avoid this additional charge, we encourage you to consider alternative payment methods such as debit card, cash, or check. This change is being implemented to help offset the costs associated with credit card processing fees.
